On HOKA Hackney Moves weekend over 1,000 children run their final mile, cross the official finish line and experience the excitement of a real event.

SCHOOLS
The HOKA Hackney Schools is a free youth running program which is part of the HOKA Hackney Moves Festival. The programme gives local primary school children of all abilities their chance to shine on the HOKA Hackney Half finish line.
In 2026 the HOKA Hackney Schools was made up of over 30 schools from Hackney and the surrounding boroughs. Pupils covered as many miles as they can in the lead up to the event, either at home or at school. Then the final mile of the challenge takes place at the Hackney Marshes.
