The Academy is part of the 2027 HOKA Hackney Moves Community Programme, which helps more local people get active by taking away the things that stop them: cost, confidence and not knowing where to start.

12 WEEK PLAN
Built for where you're starting from. Fully coached sessions, building up gently week by week.
GROUP SESSIONS
Every Tuesday at 6.30pm at Ozone, Emma Street, with qualified coaches who'll adapt things to you.
YOUR ACADEMY CREW
Fifty people starting at the same point as you. Train together, keep each other going, cross the line together.
SUPPORT BETWEEN SESSIONS
Your own Academy WhatsApp group, for questions, encouragement and the odd moan after a tough run.
RACE DAY, TOGETHER
Your own Academy space on race day, with your coach there to see you off and welcome you back.

HOW TO APPLY
1. FILL IN A SHORT FORM
It opens on 12 October and takes less than 10 minutes. Tell us about you and why you want to take part.
2. WE PICK OUR 50
We'll read every application and choose the people we think the Academy will help most, and who can commit to every session.
3. START YOUR 12 WEEKS
Meet your coaches and your crew at the first session.
FULLY COACHED JOURNEY
Change the text and add your own content, including any information that is relevant to share. Then customize the font, size and scale to make it your own.

No. The Academy starts from wherever you are.
Yes. There's nothing to pay, and your entry to the 2027 HOKA Hackney Half is included.
Yes, the Academy was set up with you in mind. We'll ask a few questions when you apply so the coaches can plan around you. If you're unsure, check with your GP first.
We ask everyone to commit to all 12 Tuesday sessions, so please only apply if you can.
